What a difference a week makes. We were to have done this walk 7 days ago. The park tracks and trails were closed and the winds were furious, northerly and dangerous. Today, we had a clear blue sky, no cloud, some afternoon wind but nothing that threatened life and limb. I am only sorry that some of those who had wanted to come laswt week could not make it today.

This is a walk I led for the National Parks Association of NSW, on 5th September 2024. At this time of the year one spends some time on flowers. Mind you, we did see one legless lizard along the track and there was more than enough evidence that echidnas have been active.
