    I am reliably informed that blue spray on Waratahs was done formally by NPWS ranger/s. A bit like desperate wildlife managers in Africa sawing off elephant tusks to save them being shot by poachers. (Not entirely successful, as some were shot out of frustration. Oatley Park is alive with Clematis, but I accidentally deleted few snaps I took before I turned back due to tracks being like Pitt Street. And still feeling bright despite all. Gary Schoer
